Rear Seat Removal/Installation
NOTE: Take care not to scratch the body or tear the seat covers.
1. While pushing down on the seat cushion (A), pull the seat hook handles (B) to release the hooks (C).
2. Remove the seat cushion (A), and release the center seat belt buckles (B) from their slits (C).
3. Disconnect the seat cushion heater connector (D) (if equipped).
4. Release the seat belt (A) from their guides (B).
5. Remove the rear center seat belt and the rear seat belt buckles. Rear Seat Belt Replacement
6. Remove the bolts from the base of the seat-back (A).
7. Disconnect the power head restraint and the seat-back heater (if equipped) connector (B).
8. Lift the seat-back (A) up to release the wire loops (B) from the hooks (C) on the body, then remove the seat-back.
9. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Guide the belts over the front of the seat-back as you install it.
- Before attaching the rear seat-back and the cushion, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the seat belts.
- When installing the seat cushion, slip the seat belt buckles through the slits in the seat cushion.
