Rear Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair




Rear Door Glass Outer Weatherstrip Replacement

NOTE:

- The door glass outer weatherstrip will need replacement because it will bend during removal.

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

- Take care not to scratch the door.

1. Lower the glass fully.

2. Remove these items:
- Door panel Front Door Weatherstrip Replacement

- Door glass inner weatherstrip Rear Door Panel Removal/Installation

- Door sash outer trim

3. Starting at the front, detach the front clip (A), and pull the door glass outer weatherstrip (B) up at each portion where the inner molding (C) catches the inside edge of the window slot, and then detach the rear clip (D), then remove the weatherstrip.

4. Install a new weatherstrip in the reverse order of removal, and push the weatherstrip into place securely.
