Cruise Control Switch: Testing and Inspection

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Distance Switch Test

1. Remove the driver's airbag. Driver's Airbag Replacement

2. Disconnect the 20P connector (A) from the cable reel.

3. Check for continuity between 20P connector terminals No. 5 and No. 14.
- There should be continuity with the distance switch pressed.

- There should be no continuity with the distance switch released.

4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the cruise control combination switch assembly. Cruise Control Combination Switch Test (With ACC/CMBS)
