Adaptive cruise control (ACC) activation indicator (green) does not come on
1. Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function. How to Troubleshoot the Gauges and Indicators
Is the gauge control module OK?
YES - Go to step 2.
NO - Substitute a known-good gauge control module and recheck. If the problem goes away, replace the original gauge control module. Service and Repair
2. Test the ACC switch. Cruise Control Combination Switch Test (With ACC/CMBS)
Is the switch OK?
YES - Go to step 3.
NO - Replace the cruise control combination switch. Cruise Control Combination Switch Replacement (With ACC/CMBS)
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
4. Measure the voltage between the cruise control combination switch 20P connector terminal No. 13 and body ground.
Is there about 5 V?
YES - Repair an open in the wire between the cruise control combination switch and body ground.
NO - Repair an open in the wire between the cruise control combination switch and the gauge control module.
