Adaptive cruise control (ACC) activation indicator (green) does not go off
1. Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function. How to Troubleshoot the Gauges and Indicators
Is the gauge control module OK?
YES - Go to step 2.
NO - Substitute a known-good gauge control module and recheck. If the problem goes away, replace the original gauge control module. Service and Repair
2. Remove the driver's airbag. Driver's Airbag Replacement
3. Disconnect the 20P connector (A) from the cable reel.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
5. Watch the ACC activation indicator.
Does the ACC activation indicator go off?
YES - Test the cruise control combination switch. Cruise Control Combination Switch Test (With ACC/CMBS)
NO - Repair a short to ground in the wire between the cruise control combination switch and the gauge control module.
