Vehicle Speed Cannot Be Set When the Set Switch Is Pressed (Between the 25 MPH (40 km/H) and 90 MPH (145 km/H)) (With ACC/CMBS)

Vehicle speed cannot be set when the SET switch is pressed (between the 25 mph (40 km/h) and 90 mph (145 km/h))

Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Test the cruise control combination switch. Cruise Control Combination Switch Test (With ACC/CMBS)

2. Test the transmission range switch. Transmission Range Switch Test

3. Test the brake pedal position switch. Testing and Inspection

4. Check for a short in the SCS line.

Also check for:

- Blown No. 4 (15 A) or No. 13 (15 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box
- An open in the wire
- A short in the wire
- The system is in service mode
