Poor acceleration; flares when starting off in D, S, and R; stall speed low

Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Shift solenoid valve D defective

2. Torque converter one-way clutch defective

3. Engine output low

4. Torque converter clutch piston defective

5. Lock-up shift valve defective

Also check for:

- Check for a stuck lock-up valve in the valve body.
- Check for a stored DTC, and check for loose connectors. Inspect the O-ring, and check the shift solenoid valve seizure.
- Replace the torque converter.
