Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) DTC Troubleshooting: 107

DTC 107: Millimeter Wave Radar Aiming Incomplete

NOTE: If the millimeter wave radar is removed or replaced, it is necessary to aim it, otherwise DTC 107 is stored even if the system is OK.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and watch the adaptive cruise control (ACC) indicator.

Does the ACC indicator stay off?
YES - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

NO - Go to step 2.


2. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 107 indicated?
YES - If DTC 107 is indicated again after the aiming is complete, check for loose or poor connections. If OK, replace the millimeter wave radar. Service and Repair

NO - Go to step 3.


3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Are any DTCs indicated?
YES - Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s).

NO - Check for loose or poor connections. If OK, replace the ACC unit, Service and Repair then go to step 4.


4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 107 indicated?
YES - Check for loose or poor connections. If OK, replace the millimeter wave radar. Service and Repair

NO - Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s). If there are no DTCs, the system is OK at this time.
