Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) DTC Troubleshooting: 11, 12, 13, 14

DTC 11: Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Error

DTC 12: Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Error

DTC 13: Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Error

DTC 14: Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Error

NOTE: If DTC 112 is stored at the same time as DTC 11, 12, 13, or 14, troubleshoot DTC 112 first, then recheck for DTC 11, 12, 13, or 14.

1. Check for VSA system DTCs with the HDS.

Are any DTCs indicated?
YES - Troubleshoot the indicated VSA system DTC(s).

NO - Go to step 2.


2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

3. Test-drive the vehicle at 5 mph (8 km/h) or more with the adaptive cruise control (ACC) activated, and watch the ACC indicator.

Does the ACC indicator come on?
YES - Go to step 4.

NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.


4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Are DTC 11, 12, 13, or 14 indicated?
YES - Check for loose or poor connections. If OK, replace the ACC unit. Service and Repair

NO - Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s).
