Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) DTC Troubleshooting: 60
DTC 60: Communication Line Error
1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
3. Turn the adaptive cruise control (ACC) switch ON.
4. Watch the ACC indicator.
Does the ACC indicator stay off?
YES - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
NO - Go to step 5.
5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 60 indicated?
YES - Go to step 6.
NO - Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s). If there are no DTCs, the system is OK at this time.
6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
7. Disconnect the ACC unit 20P connector.
8. Measure the resistance between ACC unit 20P connector terminals No. 10 and No. 20.
Is there about 60 Ohms at room temperature?
YES - The F-CAN line is OK at this time, check for loose or poor connections. If OK, replace the ACC unit. Service and Repair
NO - Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the communication line (CANL line or CANH line.)
