Climate Control Aspirator Fan Circuit Troubleshooting
1. Check the No. 30 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.
Is the fuse OK?
YES - Go to step 2.
NO - Check for a short in the No. 30 (7.5 A) fuse circuit.
2. Disconnect the in-car temperature sensor 4P connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
4. Measure the voltage between in-car temperature sensor 4P connector terminal No. 1 and body ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES - Go to step 5.
NO - Repair an open in the wire between the No. 30 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and the aspirator fan.
5. Reconnect the in-car temperature sensor 4P connector.
6. Connect in-car temperature sensor 4P connector terminal No. 4 to body ground with a jumper wire.
Does the aspirator fan run?
YES - Check for an open in the wire between the aspirator fan and body ground. If the wire is OK, check for poor ground at G501. Dashboard Wire Harness (Left Branch) Connector And Harness Locations
NO - Replace the aspirator fan.
