Engine does not crank

Check for loose battery terminals or connections.

Test the battery for a low state of charge Testing and Inspection.

Check for PGM-FI DTCs Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

Check for BODY DTCs Diagnostic Aids.

Check the PGM-FI main relays Testing and Inspection.

Check for symptom troubleshooting:

Engine does not start with the remote or with the remote in the remote slot Symptom Troubleshooting.

Engine does not start with the remote Engine Cranks But Will Not Start With Keyless Access (With Keyless Access System).

Engine does not start with the remote in the remote slot Engine Cranks But Will Not Start With the Remote In the Remote Slot (With Keyless Access System).

Check the starter Starter System Circuit Troubleshooting (With Keyless Access System).

Check the starter cut relay 1 and starter cut relay 2 Testing and Inspection.

Check the +B cut relay (M/T model) Testing and Inspection.

Check the brake pedal position switch Testing and Inspection.

Check the transmission range switch (A/T model) Testing and Inspection.

Check the clutch pedal position switch A (M/T model) .

Check the engine start/stop switch and its related circuits Service and Repair.

Also check for

Poor ground at G101 (M/T model) or G101 (A/T model)
