Adaptive cruise control (ACC) activation indicator (green) does not come on

1. Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

Is the gauge control module OK?

YES -

Go to step 2.

NO -

Substitute a known-good gauge control module and recheck. If the problem goes away, replace the original gauge control module Service and Repair.�

2. Test the ACC switch Cruise Control Combination Switch Test.

Is the switch OK?

YES -

Go to step 3.

NO -

Replace the cruise control combination switch Cruise Control Combination Switch Replacement.�

3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

4. Measure the voltage between the cruise control combination switch 20P connector terminal No. 13 and body ground. There should be about 5 V.





Is the voltage as specified?

YES -

Repair an open in the wire between the cruise control combination switch and body ground.�

NO -

Repair an open in the wire between the cruise control combination switch and the gauge control module.�
