Due to higher alternator output, present V-belt tension is insufficient. Adjust belt tension as follows:

Alternator V-belts up to 1000 mm long

^ a 2 mm max. deflection with new belt
^ a 5 mm max. deflection with previously run belt



Alternator V-belts over 1000 mm long

^ a 10 mm max. deflection with new belt
^ a 15 mm max. deflection with previously run belt

Extremely loud squealing may indicate damaged V-belt that should be replaced
