Exhaust System

Cause:

Exhaust manifold warps causing studs to break in area of exhaust port # 1 and/or # 5.


Production Change:

No change.




Service Solution:

Always replace both studs on exhaust port 1 and 5 when exhaust manifold is removed. Replace broken studs with tempered studs.

Check exhaust manifold for warpage and resurface is necessary.
