Product Circular Group 60, 86-01, December 30, 1986 was issued with a VW logo in the upper left hand corner rather than the Audi logo.

The information is the same.


Changes were made to the electric sunroof and incorporated in production vehicles during February 1985.


An update repair procedure was developed for all 1984 and 1985 vehicles up to VIN 44 - FN100000.

The update repair procedure is in the following publications:

^ Product Circular, Group 60, 85-01, June 1985
^ Audi Protraining Booklet, WSP-521-128-00

All necessary components were combined in a sunroof repair kit Part No. 443 898 999.


Note

If sunroof repair kit WAS installed and additional repairs are necessary, - install single parts and NOT the complete sunroof repair kit

On vehicles produced after VIN 44 - FN100000,

- replace only single parts when repairs are necessary
- do NOT install complete sunroof repair kit
