Service
The passenger-side front airbag can be deactivated using the ignition key in the key switch located in the glove compartment.

To activate the passenger-side front airbag system:





- Turn key switch to the "ON" position.

To deactivate the passenger-side front airbag system:

- Turn the key switch to the "OFF" position

Note:
Whenever the ignition is switched ON and the front passenger airbag has been deactivated:





The "AIRBAG OFF" warning light -arrow- in the center console will remain on all the time to remind the driver that the passenger-side front airbag has been deactivated.

CAUTION!
DO NOT push on the "AIRBAG OFF" warning light.

This could damage the light and cause it to separate from the center console.

Note:
The driver-side front and side airbags as well as the passenger-side side airbag cannot be deactivated.
