Tail Lights, Servicing (sedan)

CAUTION! Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap before working on the electrical system.

NOTE: Before disconnecting the battery determine the correct coding for the anti-theft radio.
After reconnecting the battery, check and activate the vehicle's electrical equipment (radio, clock, comfort and convenience features, etc.).






1. Harness connector for tail light

2. Bulb carrier

3. Body

4. Nuts with washers M5 (4x)
4 Nm (35 in lb)

5. Brake light bulb
12V, 21/5 W

6. Turn signal bulb
12 V, 21 W

7. Backup light bulb
12 V, 21 W

8. Rear fog light bulb
12 V, 21 W

9. Tail light auxiliary wiring
Clipped to back of tail light

10. Tail light
Seal is glued to tail light
Removing & installing, refer to Tail Lights, Removing and Installing Tail Lights, Removing and Installing

11. Tail light trim
Painted same color as car
Locked into tail light
Always remove tail lights, then press catches in one after the other using screwdriver and remove trim

NOTE: The trim can be secured with a self-tapping screw (4.2 x 9.5) (item -12-) for repairs.

Only install if necessary for repairs
