Evaporator Refrigerant Lines, Removing And Installing

- Discharge refrigerant system .







- Remove bolt -A-.
- Loosen refrigerant line clamp and remove lines from evaporator.
- Plug all open connections to prevent moisture and dirt contamination.
- Install in reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Immediately plug open connections on A/C components and lines to prevent dirt and moisture contamination.







NOTE:
- Replace O-rings -A- and -B-.
- O-ring -A-: 10.8 mm inside diameter, 1.8 mm thickness
- O-ring -B-: 17.2 mm inside diameter, 1.8 mm thickness
- Ensure lines fit into evaporator without binding.
- Torque retaining bolt -A- (illustration A87-0054) to 15 Nm (11.0 ft lb).
