Dust And Pollen Filter Element, Removing And Installing

- Remove plenum chamber cover.







- Release catches on tab -A- and fold back tab.
- Remove dust and pollen filter element from housing.


NOTE:
- To prevent water from entering the dust and pollen filter or the intake duct, make sure that the plenum chamber cover and cowl panel trim are installed correctly.
- The dust and pollen filter element should be replaced at regular intervals.
- The dust and pollen filter element must be installed correctly in frame -C-. Arrows -B- indicate the direction of air flow.
- With additional element of active carbon (combination filter)
- On vehicle until or from October 1998 there are different versions of the dust and pollen filter and housing (with or without active-carbon-filter element) (different sizes).
