Roof Antenna, Removing And Installing







1 - Antenna rod
2 - Antenna foot
- Two amplifiers are installed for radio and navigation operation.
- No amplifier is installed for telephone operation..
3 - Hex nut M14 with serrated washer
- Serrated washer is attached to hex nut with plastic ring
- Apply contact grease to inside of roof in area of serrated washer
4 Connection - for navigation system
The navigation connection must be threaded in, and is shorter than the telephone connection.
5 Connection - for telephone system
The telephone connection must be connected at wire to telephone system. This connection is shorter than the connection for the radio system.
6 Connection - for radio system
The radio connection is connected at wire to radio.

Removing
- Carefully pry out rear interior light from roof liner using screwdriver.
- Unbolt antenna -1-
- Unbolt hex nut M14 with serrated washer.
- Disconnect electrical harness connectors - 4-, -5- and -6-.
- Remove antenna foot -2- upward.

Installing:
- Install in reverse order of removal.
