1-2 minutes (e.g. caused by rows of trees or rows of buildings).
Cause:
Audi has identified a manufacturing quality imperfection in the Multi Media Interface (MMI) software, that necessitates updating MMI components, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and in certain cases the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533-.
Service
Perform MMI software update using MMI Update CD: W42A8317.
Perform TPMS software update using Update CD - Part No. 4F0 906 961C.
Additionally, in the case of an older software version of the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533-, an update of -J533- using MMI Update CD: W42A8317 is required as well.
