Hose Routing, EVAP Canister/Leak Detection System, 1.8L Turbo Engine





1 Non-return valve

• Installation position: Arrow on the valve points in direction of flow

2 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve (N80)

• Component location: Right front in engine compartment

3 Vent line

• From EVAP canister to Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve (N80)

• Installation position: At right beneath vehicle floor

• Secured to fuel tank in fuel tank area

4 Vent line

• To gravity valve at fuel tank

5 EVAP canister

• Component location: Bottom of spare wheel well

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ EVAP Canister ] Service and Repair

6 Connecting hose

• Leak detection pump/EVAP canister

• Pressure side

7 Air filter housing

• For Leak detection pump (LDP) (V144)

8 Leak detection pump (LDP) (V144)

• Component location: In left rear wheel housing behind wheel housing liner

• Check using "Guided Fault Finding"

• Checking, refer to => [ Leak Detection Pump, Checking, Vehicles with MPI Engine ] Leak Detection Pump, Checking, Vehicles With MPI Engine

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Leak Detection Pump ] Service and Repair

9 Vacuum line

• Leak detection pump/Throttle valve control module

10 Non-return valves

• Installation position: Arrow on the valve points in direction of flow

11 T-piece

• Component location => [ Installation position of T-piece ]

12 Throttle valve control module (J338)
