TV System, from 1 September 2008

The TV system is part of the MMI Infotainment system.

The TV Tuner (R78) is connected to the other components of the Infotainment system via MOST Bus. Operation is performed via the Multimedia Control Head (E380).

A "hybrid" tuner is installed for receiving analog and digital TV channels.

The DVD player is located in the information electronics control module 1 (J794).

Fault finding is performed via "Guided Fault Finding" using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS5051).
