Service

If the customer's concern is that the air conditioning system does not cool at all or that the air conditioning cooling was previously not operational at all but now functions normally, do not make any repairs to the vehicle until the following diagnostic procedures are performed:

1. Test drive vehicle to check air conditioning system operation. It is possible that the air conditioning cooling functions properly at the time of customer visit.

2. Run a complete diagnostic memory check of all modules: Vehicle Self Diagnosis >> On Board Diagnostic >> Compiling Services >> Check DTC Memory-Complete System. Do not clear any faults and save the test plan to a removable carrier.

3. Check air conditioning system refrigerant pressures and refrigerant volume.

4. Open a TACS ticket, attach the diagnostic protocol and report the current condition of the system after the test drive and system test.
5. Do not perform any other inspections or tests until instructed to do so.
