DTC 01577 (compressor switch off due to excessive temperature, sporadic) is stored in the air suspension control module.

Technical Background

The air suspension module will log DTC 01577 (compressor switch off due to excessive temperature, sporadic) each time the air suspension compressor is shut off due to excessive temperature. The compressor will resume normal function after a short cool down period (30 seconds to 4 minutes), but the DTC will remain logged in the air suspension control module.

This DTC does not indicate a compressor malfunction.

Production Solution

Service

Do not replace the air suspension compressor for the above condition.
