Customer may report harsh downshifts while braking or harsh 1-2 upshift under acceleration.
Technical Background
Further TCM software calibration to improve shift concerns.
Production Solution
New software in the Transmission Control Module (J217) addresses the condition.
Service
SVM Update Instructions
1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the Transmission Control Module (J217) using the SVM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.
3. Clear adaptations and perform test drive adaptation through GFF for 2011 model year.
4. Clear adaptations and perform standstill adaptation for 2012 model year only.
