Condition
^ Coolant temperature too high (thermostat function has been verified).

^ Coolant warning on.

Technical Background





A small non-return valve is fitted in the coolant hose (4G0 121 081 AH) to the reservoir.

The flow must only go towards the reservoir and be blocked to the engine.

Production Solution
Optimized process at the supplier from VIN number _FC1CN079045 on.

Coolant hoses with a blue mark are correct.

Service

1. Check the valve function with compressed air (use pressure reducer - max 1bar).

2. The flow must only go towards the reservoir and be blocked to the engine.

3. Replace the coolant hose if a flow to the engine is possible.
