Lane Change Assistance Warning Lamps in Exterior Rearview Mirrors (K233)/(K234)

Removing







Danger of unintended engine ignition.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove the mirror glass - 1 -..

- Remove the connector - 1 - and disconnect it.






- Release the tab - arrow A - and remove the warning lamp - 2 - for the lane change assistant from the housing - 3 - for the outside mirror - arrow B -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• If an LED is faulty, the entire lane change assistance warning lamp in the exterior rearview mirror must be replaced.
