Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

Removal:
- Remove engine fan.
- Loosen radiator and push up to engine.
- Discharge pressure in air conditioner.

CAUTION:
Automotive refrigerant containing CFC's is hazardous to the earth's atmosphere.
To protect our environment, use an Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) approved refrigerant recovery recycling unit whenever discharging an A/C system.

- Remove right radiator grill section. Service and Repair





- Disconnect pipe.
- Insert plugs in open connections immediately.





- Disconnect pipe.
- Insert plugs in open connections immediately.





- Unscrew bolts.
- Remove condenser from above.





- Connect plug (1) of extra fan with plug (2) of wire harness.

2 - Rubber mount
3 - Washer
4 - Lock washer
5 - Nut

- Unscrew bolts (1) for extra fan mounting.
- Take extra fan off of condenser.

Installation Notes:





- Straighten bent cooling fins on condenser with help of a special comb (1).
- Replace all seals for A/C line connections.
- Recharge and check air conditioner for leaks after installation.
