CD Changer Operation - Improved Features

A "random play" feature has been added giving the system the ability to randomly select one track after another. In this mode, the system chooses from all tracks of all discs in the magazine randomly.

Both CD changers are compatible with either radio. However, they differ slightly in some areas, such as magazine design.

The Alpine CD Changer uses a new magazine that features improved design and easier loading and unloading. The Pioneer CD Changer is smaller than the previous design, and incorporates an improved shock absorber design. It uses the familiar 6-disc magazine (BMW part number 88 88 1 600 188) which is compatible with certain home multi-play CD players.

Both units are now capable of verticle mounting.
