Adjustable Steering Column

The 525i, 535i and 735i/iL will have the option of a mechanically adjustable telescoping steering column. The 750iL has an electrically adjustable telescoping steering column with memory. The 850i has an electri cally adjustable steering column combining tilt and telescopic action and a memory function. The steering wheel on the 850i will automatically raise up when the driver exits the vehicle. Please refer to TRI 32 01 90 (2106) for specific information.
