Removal Procedure

Disconnect cable to accelerator pedal.





Loosen hose clamps (1) and remove bellows (2).





Pull plug (3) off throttle valve potentiometer.






Disconnect vacuum hose for purge system (1) and fuel pressure regulator (2).





Unscrew nuts (1 ... 5) and remove throttle valve assembly.





Loosen hose clamps and disconnect heating element from hoses (7 and 8). Some coolant may escape.

Note:
Open radiator cap carefully to relieve pressure in coolant system before removing coolant hoses.
