Service Port HVAC: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation





- Unscrew protective cap (1).
- Screw on valve core remover (2).





- Open shutoff valve (1).
- Unscrew the valve core with valve turner (2).





- Pull back valve turner (2) together with the valve core.
- Close shutoff valve (1).





- Unscrew coupling nut (3) and take off valve turner (2) with valve core (4).
- Place new valve core in valve turner.
- Re-install valve turner into the valve core remover.
- Tighten coupling nut (3).





- Open shutoff valve (1).
- Screw in the valve core with valve turner (2).
- Remove valve core remover.

Installation Note:





- The refrigerant-resistant valve cores can be recognized on the transparent seal (1).
