Engine Control System

The table lists only components which, when malfunctioning, cause the "Check Engine" light to illuminate. After identifying the affected component or system, Signals NOT self-checked are:
^ Memory Power (Pin 26)
^ Run Bus Power (Pin 56)
^ Ignition Control (Pins 23,24,25,50,51,52)
^ Ref/RPM Signal (Pins 67 & 68)
^ P/N Inputs (Pin 65)
^ AC Compressor Control (Pin 48)
^ Grounds (Pins 6,28,34,55)

The fault code chart lists the various codes which can be displayed through the "Check Engine" light. After identifying the affected component or system, Manufacturer Code Charts
