ABS Warning Light Glows

MODELS:
3 Series (E36)

Situation:

In extremely rare instances, the ABS warning light may glow slightly after other electrical consumers have been switched on. No fault is stored in the ABS Control Module fault memory.

Important:
The ABS system is in fully operational condition.

Cause:

Hardware fault in the ABS Control Module.

Vehicles Affected:

3 Series (E36) - vehicles produced 1/96 through 3/96 without ASC.

Correction:

On a customer complaint basis only, replace the ABS Control Module if this situation is encountered.
