Affected Vehicles

This Service Information concerns E36 Convertibles (323i and 328i) vehicles, manufactured between 03/01/97 and 10/16/97 with option 674 (Harman-Kardon Audio System). In order to determine if a specific vehicle is affected by this Service Action, it will be necessary to utilize the "Service Menu" of the DCS (Dealer Communication System). Based on the response of the system, either proceed with the corrective action or take no further action.
