1. Door Central Locking Actuators

Situation:
Actuators with a manufacturing date from 20B91 up to 4C91 (20891 = 20 Feb. 91; 4C91 = 4 Mar. 91) are to be replaced in every case of complaint, as these actuators may have impaired circuitry.

When replacing actuators, please observe the caution under section 2, "Rotary Striker Locks" in this bulletin.





In order to prevent misalignment of the actuators when they are installed onto the rotary lock, an additional retaining feature in the form of a small ridge ("A" in the illustration) has been added to each side of the actuator cover.

These new actuators have been installed in series production since June 1991.
