General Information:

Revised schematics have been developed for the 1997 Model Year 3 Series (318i/is/iC, 328i/is/iC, M3) vehicles produced from 9/96.

One copy of this manual will be sent to you under the Automatic Tool Shipment program. Additional copies may be ordered through your Parts Distribution Center using P/N 01 00 1 470 352.

Remove the contents, as well as the spine and cover inserts from the 1997 Preliminary Edition E36 ETM (P/N 01 00 1 469 756). Also remove the 1997 Supplement # 1 (P/N 01 001 470 129).

Replace all removed components with P/N 01 00 1 470 352.
