Manual Transmission/Transaxle: Application and ID

A letter code is located on the transmissions case:
- underside of transmission center,
- lower clutch bell housing,
- sticker on left side of transmission extension.

With help of letter code, the transmission model can be established.

Example:
xxxxxxx = Transmission no.
AKD = BMW Code
S 5 D 200 G = transmission.
