Expansion Valve: Service and Repair

Replacing Expansion Valve

Air conditioner drained.






Unfasten screws and remove pipes.

Installation:
Replace O-rings







Unscrew holder (1).
Unfasten screw (2) and slide pipes upwards with pressure plate

Installation:
Replace O-rings







Loosen screws and take off cover.







Unfasten screws and remove expansion valve

Installation:
Replace O-rings
After installation evacuate fill and check air-conditioning system for leaks.
