Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Oxygen sensor 2 before catalytic converter, system check
End of start phase
Sensor drifts toward lean range
Terminal condition: Terminal 15, engine on

Condition for fault memory entry
After trim control fault; sensor indicates more than 18% too
lean

Action in service
Check sensor wiring for short circuit; otherwise replace the
suspect sensor
