Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Crankshaft signal monitor
recognized
Terminal condition: Terminal 15, engine on

Condition for fault memory entry
At each synchronization gap if the number of crankshaft
teeth on the last revolution was off by more than two teeth.

Action in service
1. Check signal wire for short to positive, ground, opens and
interference signals
2. Replace crankshaft sensor
