Removing and Installing/Replacing Blocking Circuit




65 24 020 - Removing and installing or replacing blocking circuit





Special tools required:
- 00 9 341





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove trim for rear left and right roof pillar (C-pillar) Removing and Installing/Replacing Trim Panel for Rear Left or Right Roof Pillar (C-Pillar, Front)
- Remove trim for rear left and right roof pillar (D-pillar)
- Remove rear grab handles 51 16 450 Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Left/Right Grab Handle





Lever out right speaker cover (1) at points (2) with special tool 00 9 341.
Feed speaker cover (1) in direction of arrow out of roofliner (3) and remove.





Installation:
Lugs (1) and locks (2) of speaker cover (3) must not be damaged.
Make sure speaker cover (3) is completely engaged in roofliner.





Note:
Remove both rear and if necessary front counter supports for luggage compartment net.

Fold up cover (1).

Release screw (2) and remove counter support for luggage compartment net (3).





Pull off roofliner mucket in work area.

Important!
Do not kink roofliner under any circumstances.

Unclip and lower roofliner in rear area.

The blocking circuit can be removed through the opening created in the roofliner (speaker cover).





Note:
For purposes of clarity, illustrations show roofliner removed.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Release screw (2).
Remove blocking circuit (3) in direction of arrow from rear window frame (4).





Installation:
Fit blocking circuit (1) so that screw (2) engages thread (3) and locating pin (4) engages bore (5).
