Tank-ventilation valve, S54 engine
For activation of the tank-ventilation valve, the onboard supply voltage must be greater than 10 Volts. Furthermore, the ignition must be switched on.

The valve is activated by a pulse-width modulated signal.

In the event of faults, the supply cable, the fuse, and the signal cable T_TEV must be checked alongside the component.
