SUBJECT
Airbag Warning Illuminated, FC 93D2

MODEL
E70 (X5) vehicles produced from October 2, 2006 to August 29, 2007

SITUATION
The airbag warning lamp is illuminated (permanently or intermittently) and fault code 93D2 (Passenger Airbag Off Light [POL]) is stored in the ACSM (Advanced Crash Safety Module).

CAUSE
Faulty FZD (Roof Functions Center) or faulty ACSM

PROCEDURE
[NEW] In the case of a customer complaint, this problem has been integrated into DIS diagnostics. Follow diagnostics and the relevant test plan using the latest DIS version.
