SUBJECT
The Electronic Dampening Control (EDC) Warning Lamp is Illuminated; No Faults Stored

MODEL
E70 (X5)

SITUATION
The EDC warning lamp illuminates and the suspension defaults to the firm setting. No fault codes are stored in the Vertical Dynamics Management (VDM) control module.

CAUSE
The DISplus/GT-1 software is unable to identify certain fault code entries in the VDM control module.

CORRECTION
Interrogate VDM fault memory. If no faults are stored, transfer all FASTA data and submit a PuMA case titled: "E70 EDC warning, no faults stored". This bulletin will be updated when the corrected tester software is released.
