Flywheel: Service and Repair

11 22 000 Removing and installing or replacing the flywheel (automatic M57T2-SCR)

Special tools required:





Necessary preliminary work:
^ Disconnect negative battery terminal
^ Remove and install front assembly underbody protection
^ Remove and install automatic transmission

Block flywheel (1) with special tool 11 9 260 / 11 9 266 / 11 9 264.





Unfasten flywheel bolts.

Installation Note:
Tightening torque 11 22 1AZ.

Flywheel (1) is secured with an dowel pin.

Fit new flywheel bolts.

Clean crankshaft thread for flywheel bolts.

Remove flywheel (1).





Assemble engine.
