Cruise Control - Disc Pointer Does Not Return to the Zero Position

SITUATION

After the cruise control is deactivated by the brake, the disc pointer does not return to the zero position. The pointer only returns to the zero position when the engine is turned off.

CAUSE

Instrument cluster software

CORRECTION

Using ISTA D2.23 or later, in "Guided Troubleshooting", select "02 Display, information, communication / 0207 instrument cluster", and then press "Accept fault pattern / Calculate test plan". Select test plan W6211_WAS20 (Moving-disc instrument will not return to neutral position). Follow the on-screen prompts to correct the condition.
