Energy Diagnosis Vehicle Wake-Up

Energy diagnosis: Vehicle wake-up

The events in the case of too many wakings are described below. In the event of a fault, all the measures serve to ensure the starting capability of the vehicle and for diagnosis if the fault has caused a flat battery.

Index Explanation
1 Terminal R off: the vehicle reaches the idle state.
2 Consumer unit shutdown: 8 minutes after terminal R Off if the vehicle is not locked.
3 Deactivation of terminal 30g
(30 or 60 minutes after terminal R OFF)
4 The JBE sends the 'Power Down' command if the vehicle was wakened 10 times after deactivation of terminal 30g.
5 Reset of terminal 30g-f
6 Deactivation of terminal 30g-f
7 After terminal R Off, the vehicle is wakened too frequently: the number of wakings is saved in the energy history memory.
8 Terminal R ON Bus communication is active.

In the top example, only two authorized wakings are shown:
- Waking FRM (8 minutes after terminal R Off): Load deactivation
- Waking instrument cluster (KOMBI) (40 minutes after terminal R Off): Query of the coolant temperature. Waking does not always occur, only under certain conditions.
